Choose where you need a limit
Set a monthly amount for a merchant or a category: food delivery, clothes, online shopping. You choose the amounts. Perim is designed to help with the spending you want to change.
A payment that would take you over is declined
With a £100 shopping limit and £90 already spent, a £20 purchase is declined. A £10 purchase fits. Your limit resets at the start of the next calendar month.
Commit for the month
You can lower a committed limit. Raising it or switching it off takes effect next month. A decision made in advance should not disappear at checkout.
Know what counts
These are the planned controls for the Perim account and card, currently in development. We will publish the supported payment types, category rules, refund treatment and exceptions before launch. The controls apply to spending through Perim; they cannot decline payments made through another bank.
Testing app blocking?
Our current iPhone private test uses connected bank data to block selected apps and websites when a budget is reached. It does not decline payments. Read the private-test protection guide.
