Disconnect a bank
Use the disconnect action for the account in Perim. It requests revocation of that Plaid connection and stops further syncing after revocation succeeds. Already collected spending history and your current monthly commitments remain until their retention period ends or you delete the account.
Delete your Perim account
In Perim, open Settings, choose Delete account, complete any requested sign-in and authenticator check, and confirm deletion. The app shows the request’s progress. The process first revokes bank access, then removes your account’s bank information, transactions, budget history, device registrations and sign-in account.
Deletion is permanent. An interrupted request is retried; closing the app does not cancel a submitted request. Until completion is confirmed, the app preserves existing local protections rather than treating an error as successful deletion. After confirmed completion, it removes Perim’s local account data and protections from that device.
If you cannot sign in
Email jibril@perim.money from the address associated with your account. We will verify the request before deleting data. Do not send passwords, authenticator codes or identity documents unless we arrange a secure method.
Limited records and other providers
A minimal hashed completion marker is kept for 90 days to prevent delayed processing from restoring erased data. Security logs follow the retention described in our privacy policy. Plaid, your bank and sign-in providers manage their own records under their own policies; deleting Perim does not close your bank account.
