Your money stays where it is
Perim connects to eligible bank accounts through Plaid. You choose which accounts to share during the connection flow. Perim reads account and transaction information to measure your budgets; this version cannot move money or initiate payments.
What happens after you connect
Choose a monthly budget and the apps and websites associated with it. Perim tracks the matching spending in the accounts you connect. When recorded spending reaches the budget, the selected apps and websites are blocked on your configured iPhone until the monthly reset.
Availability and updates
Perim is in private testing. We are preparing bank connectivity for the UK and EU. Support depends on your country, bank and account type. A bank appearing in Plaid does not by itself confirm that it is enabled for Perim.
Transaction data is not always immediate. Purchases can appear later, change from pending to posted, or be corrected. You may spend beyond a budget before Perim receives the information needed to block an app.
You control the connection
You can disconnect an account in Perim. This stops future access after the connection is revoked. Disconnecting does not remove a current monthly commitment or erase previously collected history. See account deletion for the full removal process.
